Welcome to my updated TBR

In 2018 I made up an Owned TBR post with all the books I have on my shelves waiting to be read and I’ve recently posted a Check-In post to see how I did.
Spoiler: It was not great.

Now I’m here to share my updated TBR, with all my recent purchases because boy did I go a little crazy in 2019, and taking out all the books I already read or unhauled last year.

I plan on keeping this up to date but will I though???

I’m also sorting them under different categories than last time, to reflect what my actual shelves look like! I’ve been working on this post for months. Mostly because I’ve been working on it while I was on semi-hiatus and my shelves have gone through a lot of changes since I started it.

And then I decided I wanted to include photos of my actual copies of the books and boy did that take a long time. So long in fact that Charlie got sick of waiting for my attention and crashed the photo shoot.

I was also taking photos of the books for my review post backlog as well and Charlie’s paws feature in one of them and his saliva features on a feather in another (not that you’d be able to tell) because he decided to take advantage of me being distracted while closing the door because the wind was making everything fly all over the place.

I have four bookcases.

Two of which are Billy Bookcases, one is in the living room, which contains all mine and my mum’s favourite books with a combination of fantasy and realistic fiction.

One is in our study/gym room and those are all SFF.

The other two are in my bedroom. These are realistic fiction, memoirs, cookbooks and adult fantasy and horror.

Realistic Fiction Gay Gang

This is my shelf for all my realistic fiction books with LGBT+ characters. I also try to keep this shelf organised in a rainbow.

I’d like to note that some of these I am not 100% sure have gay rep because I’m just going off of what GR says.

Shadowhunters

This gets 2 whole ass shelves because there are so many books in the Shadowhunter world and I have almost all of them but I only have one series + the first book in the newest series unread and they sit on shelf 2.
