Bookish Bits // I’m Finally Participating in A Readathon and Challenge! – Late-A-Thon + January Jam Jar

I have never participated in a reading challenge or readathon.

I know! Crazy! But I’m a control freak and readathons and challenges take the control out of my hands.

There has been any challenges or readathons that cater to me enough for me to do them, plus I usually plan out what I’m going to do very early on so when I see a reading activity I think I would like to try.

So why no ignore what I decided and do the activity instead???

Because of reasons!!!! Really, I’m just someone who gets an idea in my head and become so focused that just the idea of deviating from it makes me anxious.

But then I saw a challenge and a readathon that perfectly aligned with my already made plans! It’s fate, I’m telling you.

Destiny @ Howling Libraries announced that she would be hosting the Late-a-thon which is a readathon dedicated to reading ARCs which is exactly what I wanted to focus on at the beginning of the year because I am so fucking behind guys, it’s stressing me out!

And then she also invited me to the Devour Your TBR group whose January challenge is January Jam Jar. It’s all about getting to the books you were meant to get to in 2018 which are all of my ARCs so I get to kill two birds with one stone.

Honestly, the heavens have opened up for me and it’s about bloody time.

This post is basically my sign up post!

I have created a TBR jar for both of these together and it’s got me ridiculously excited for January!!!!

Below are all of the books in my TBR Jar.

jan jam jar lateathon.jpegThey’re all books I received from Netgalley in exchange for a review.

I will be including;

☁️ Title,

☁️ Series,

☁️ Author,

☁️ Publish Date

☁️ And the rep because why not

In that order.

I’m using the same jar for both but apparently, I forgot this while making up the Jars. The other jar is actually just my full physical TBR jar for 2019 it just now has a JanJamJar label because I put in far too much effort and I don’t want to admit that I wasted so many letter stickers.
