Personal // Hiatus Announcement – The One Where I Lie

Soooooo I’ve decided to take a mini break from blogging. It won’t be for too long I promise!

The reason is mostly to kind of find a bit of balance again.

I threw myself into blogging and reading the last few months to keep myself super busy because my life was falling apart and keeping myself busy was the only way of keeping myself distracted and not thinking about the wreck my life was.

Well, my life is now calm and peaceful for once and I want to be able to enjoy that while I still can. And right now I don’t really feel like I’ve given myself much time to catch my breath and when I do I feel guilty just for doing other things I enjoy and pressure to keep up with my self-induced schedules.

So I’m going to take the time to read, catch up on reviews*, write loads of posts and get ahead of schedule again so I’m not stressing myself out, and watching the boatload of things I haven’t had time to watch lately.

I will be hanging around reading everyone’s posts and commenting but I won’t be posting anything for a bit. Please don’t forget me! I promise I’ll be back as soon as I find a way to put my life back in balance again!

*I’m so behind, I’ve never been this behind before and it’s giving me major anxiety!

      1. Ha ha!! You go, girl! I’m on a bit of a “hiatus” myself at the moment… And I am ALSO not getting ahead of anything! 😂😂 I don’t even have time to breathe, let alone read, post, or comment!! 😕 I can’t wait for September….

  1. Taking time off is always good! Even though we moved into our new house on Monday and settled in pretty much the same day, I still took some time off to actually get to enjoy my house, read in the garden, and spent time with my dog rather than rushing back to blogging. Getting out and enjoying life while its good is good!

    1. I’m really having to learn when to take time off, and all though I can’t afford to take time off from work when I need to, I’m trying not to feel guilty when taking time away from the book world.
Hope you’re still enjoying your new house 💖
