I can read again! The slump is broken. My skin is clear*. The air is fresh and I no longer hate myself.**
Thankfully I no longer feel like I am forcing myself to read!
*Well that’s a lie actually because my skin is breaking out something rotten.
**Well, that’s a lie too, but I no longer hate myself because of not being able to read so I just hate myself the normal amount. #justgirlthings
This month I’ve been working towards getting myself at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule for my blogging. I have gotten there, I just have not conquered being able to keep it consistent.
This month hit me pretty hard, between my brother being kicked out and finding out something awful that happened with a family member, I’ve been out of sorts, to say the least. Thankfully I have an amazing therapist and just going and venting, yelling and crying has helped loads.
This month I was also diagnosed with PTSD so you know, that was fun! Though I had thought for a while that was something I had been battling for the last few years, it was still upsetting to hear.
I’m getting so excited for Panic! At the Disco’s new album, Pray for the Wicked which comes out next month! In 21 days in fact! I love the new music as it comes out! I’m just so keen, I know Brendon Urie could never let me down!
My mum has almost finished the All for the Game series so I’ve spent a lot of time sending her screenshots of Tumblr posts about the characters! I wasn’t sure what to put her onto next, so I did a poll on Goodreads and she’ll be reading the Monsters of Verity duology by Victoria Schwab next, which she is excited for since she absolutely loved the Shades of Magic trilogy!
I only read 5 things this month, which was the same amount as last month, however, this time, I enjoyed each much more!

This is the first time I have done a TBR on my blog since February! I stayed away from them because I was worried that they would just make my blook slump worse. I’m out of it now, and I’m very excited to jump right back into reading!
Earlier in the month, I posted my owned TBR in a bid to make myself publicly accountable for getting through them, however…I have changed my mind and am now focusing on library books! Don’t you just love following an indecisive mess???
As always, there is a reason for my madness! It’s becoming increasingly more likely that I will move interstate at the end of this year to early next year. Now there are very few things I will miss about my home state, but there is one major thing! The library network!
My state functions on a One Card Network, meaning, as long as you have a card for one library, you have access to all libraries in the state. You can also request books to be transferred to a library closer to you! As far as I am aware, we’re the only state who has this, so I want to take full advantage of it while I’m still living here!
Because of this, I will be reading almost exclusively library books this year in hopes that I’ll be able to get through as many as possible!
